About Me
My name is Eka Leavell, and I go by "Julie." I am a Pierce College student with a Digital Design and UX/UI certificate. I am planning to graduate next year. I am interested in becoming a designer because I love art and solving challenging problems. Using my creativity to help others through technology or design is an achievement for me. I also like learning new things.
I am familiar with software like Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Media Encoder, HTML and CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver. I also use Maya to create 3D modeling.
I learned how to build a study case and prototyping using the Design system principle. Built my profile website using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
I really enjoyed using the software that I am familiar with, and I would love to explore and learn more about using different software and tools.
I love working on details. Finding color palettes, fonts, and layouts that fit the project is one of my favorite things to do. I also like prototyping; it helps me think through interaction models and new ideas.
I enjoy doing research and solving problems to make the design usable and meaningful. Understanding what user, problem, need, and wish is a crucial thing to building useful design.
