My Role

I was responsible for experience strategy and design. This role includes visual aesthetic, function, and engagement of the website and experience and satisfaction of the users.

The Problem

Early learning school is too expensive and many people can't afford it.

Client's Goal

Our client is the Washington Department of Education. The focus of this project is to create free access to educational materials, and a fun learning experience for kids from preschool to K12.

The Approach

The design process in this project involves several steps. Visualizing user attitudes and behavior to help a deep understanding of users. Define users’ problems to allow me to make a journey map and case study. Then continue with exploring ideas for solutions and prototyping. After everything is ready, the last step is to materialize it by testing and implementing the product, as well as improving it if needed.
To achieve the goal of creating a fun and user-friendly website. Considering most of the audience are kids. I used bright colors, clear fonts, and a simple layout.
